Patek Philippe 5172 Chronograph VS A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Chronograph

The 5172 is the latest manual winding chronograph from top replica Patek Philippe watches in 2019. It is an alternative model for the 5170 (5170 discontinued) and is also the manual winding chronograph currently available at Patek Philippe. The 1815 chronograph is the most pure manual winding chronograph currently available from Lange. Compared to DATO, the 1815 chronograph has no large calendar and power display. The Patek Philippe 5172 and the A. Lange & Söhne 1815 chronograph are single-handed manual chronographs for the target (except for timing, no additional functionality).

The new replica Patek Philippe 5172 measures 41 mm and is 11.45 mm thick. Compared to Patek Philippe's previous generation of manual chronograph 5170, the new 5172 has been increased in size (5170 size 39 mm). Patek Philippe has always been the most traditional and restrained brand in the world of watches, but with the changes in the aesthetic trends of these years, Patek Philippe is also changing, as can be seen from the changes from 5170 to 5172. The 5172 uses a mushroom head timing button and a three-piece lug. The three-stage lugs are one of the iconic features of the 5172. The three-stage lugs are from the history of Patek Philippe 2405, which can be seen in the Patek Philippe new watch in recent years.

The A. Lange & Söhne 1815 chronograph measures 39.5 mm and is 11 mm thick. Compared to Lange's other iconic manual chronograph DATO, the DATO measures 41 mm, the Lange 1815 chronograph has reduced size and thickness due to the absence of a large calendar and power display. The size of the Lange 1815 chronograph 39.5 is more traditional. The 1815 chronograph uses straight lugs and square chronograph buttons. Compared to Patek Philippe 5172, which currently has only a platinum shell, the Lange 1815 includes platinum and rose gold.
